In 1995, Robertson and Caine partnered with The Moorings and began developing designs destined for charter. Today, the builder delivers boats to TUI Marine (parent of Moorings and Sunsail) as well as building the Leopard line of semi-custom yachts for private owners. Current designs include 39- and 46-foot sailing cats and 39- and 47-foot power cats. The celebration was also timed to feature the new Morrelli and Melvin-designed Leopard 44/Sunsail 444 sailing catamaran.

Almost all Leopard catamarans are delivered to their final destinations on their own bottoms, a testament to their blue-water capabilities. R&C put out about two boats per week from their 270,000-square-foot facility in Cape Town. They have won multiple awards over the years and are currently the third largest producer of catamarans worldwide. R&C estimate that as a group, their Leopards have logged over eight million miles to date.
